reusable rocket

The reusable rocket is a rocket that, after sending its payload into space, returns to earth so it can be recovered for reuse in additional space launches. Unlike regular rockets that are destroyed after each launch, the reusable rocket has the potential to cut space travel cost by a factor of 100. Building a rocket that can be used more than once is also an important step in ultimately sending a manned space mission to and from Mars that could use the rocket to land and, more importantly, leave Mars to return to Earth. Reusable rockets accomplish their soft landing on earth with GPS tracking and specially designed wings that deploy upon reentry to steer their way down onto designated landing facilities on the ground.
